Old Fashion Tasty Licorice Cigars May 26, 2009

I love this brand. My order didn't take too long at all. They weren't quite as fresh as I was used to (heck, I buy 5-8 boxes at a time because I give them as gifts to my black licorice loving friends) but I'll definitely buy again when they are back in stock!
This is the tastiest black licorice ever!

This is the same stuff that you had as a kid back in the 50's. It has so much licorice it is slightly bitter. I used to purchase this $100 at a time when I would make a trip to Canada 10 years ago. You can now get the same stuff from the comfort of your home. Really good stuff if you are a black licorice freak.

I love these licorice cigars! I am 63 and they used to make them JUST like these (the pipes too) when I was a kid and I had been searching for them for years before I found them online. I'm so happy to find a source as I can find NO other licorice just like these, taste-wise and texture wise. I give them to my old licorice loving friends.

These arrived in the mail within a few days of our ordering them, which was rather impressive, and the moment we cracked the box, we were bowled over by the licorice fumes--in a good way! The cigars themselves are a little over four inches long, and thankfully there are plenty in the box so Dad has time to have more than one before everybody else runs them out. Since their flavor is really potent, honestly one apiece should hold you all evening. Great product and a nifty idea to include in a Wild West costume or simply as a touch of culinary elegance :)
