5The Terry  Dec 09, 2008 By Alfred J. Galat "Alopex"
Terry Fox would be embarrassed and humbled by his image on a coin, but he deserved it. As he wanted a dollar from every Canadian, he's now the first Canadian on a looney. His brother Darrell suggested it be called the Terry. As an American, I am only disppointed on how hard it was to get this coin, not to mention the movie "Terry". I just wish I had been aware of the Marathon of Hope back in 1980, instead of learning about Terry the day after his death.
