good stuff Feb 06, 2010 This is the same stuff that you had as a kid back in the 50's. It has so much licorice it is slightly bitter. I used to purchase this $100 at a time when I would make a trip to Canada 10 years ago. You can now get the same stuff from the comfort of your home. Really good stuff if you are a black licorice freak.

Old Fashion Tasty Licorice Cigars May 26, 2009 I love this brand. My order didn't take too long at all. They weren't quite as fresh as I was used to (heck, I buy 5-8 boxes at a time because I give them as gifts to my black licorice loving friends) but I'll definitely buy again when they are back in stock!
This is the tastiest black licorice ever!

Unhappy Jan 20, 2009 You should disclose when items are not being sold from the US or shipped. I purchased this as standard delivery with the assumption it was coming from the US not Canada because this was being shipped from Canada it did not fall into the standard shipping guidelines and was not received in time for Christmas NOW i have to take the time to contact the vendor to see if they will accept a return and pay for the shipping - this would cause me NOT to do future purchase on amazon.com
